Straight Shots – The Foundation

Line up perfectly square every time with irons, woods or driver.

Start with your wedge (the easiest club to learn with).

  1. Set the pivot housing to the centreline mark on the main shaft, ensuring the rotator shaft and the target shaft are perpendicular to one another. At this position, lasers 1 and 2 will be parallel to the main shaft and perpendicular to the rotator shaft (first click / straight-shot setting).

  2. Place the device on the ground so the main shaft points directly at your target (flag or fairway centre) and is at least 200 mm from the ball.
  3. Slide the whole shaft forward or backward until laser 3 dots the left-right centre of your golf ball. For tee shots: Place the device on the ground first, then place your ball so that it is centred on laser 3. Note: Laser 3 is angled slightly downward (approximately 5°) so it never hits you or anyone nearby. Sliding the shaft further away from the ball changes the vertical position of the laser dot on the ball.
  4. Set up to your ball: adjust your stance so laser 1 hits the same spot on your right shoe and laser 2 hits the same spot on your left shoe (0 clicks = perpendicular = square to target).
  5. Check lasers 4 and 5 hit the same position on each toe – confirms correct shoulder-width spacing.
  6. Square your clubface to laser 3’s beam (this proxies your true target line).
  7. Grip, waggle, swing along your feet line and the main shaft laser.

Visual checklist • Laser 3 on ball centre? ✓ • Lasers 1 & 2 hitting same spots on both shoes? ✓ • Lasers 4 & 5 even on toes? ✓ • Clubface matches laser 3? ✓

Result: dead-straight, repeatable contact. Master this first – everything else builds from here!

Left-handed mirror note: Swap shoe targets – laser 1 hits left shoe, laser 2 hits right shoe.

Draw Shots – Controlled Right-to-Left Curve (Right-Handed)

Create that beautiful draw / gentle hook shape.

Start with your wedge (the easiest club to learn with).

  1. Set the pivot housing to the centreline mark on the main shaft, ensuring the rotator shaft and the target shaft are perpendicular to one another. At this position, lasers 1 and 2 will be parallel to the main shaft and perpendicular to the rotator shaft.

  2. Place the device on the ground so the main shaft points directly at your target and is at least 200 mm from the ball.

  3. Slide the shaft forward or backward until laser 3 dots the left-right centre of your golf ball.
  4. Twist the rotator housing left (closes stance) 2–4 clicks initially (start small, adjust to taste).
  5. Set up: laser 1 & 2 should hit the same spots on your shoes but your feet line is aimed right of target.
  6. Confirm lasers 4 & 5 still hit even toe positions (width stays shoulder-wide).
  7. Square clubface to laser 3’s beam (still aimed at target – not your feet).
  8. Swing along your feet line (in-to-out path relative to face).

Visual checklist • Laser 3 on ball centre? ✓ • Feet aimed right of target? ✓ • Clubface square to laser 3 (target)? ✓ • Even toe marks from lasers 4 & 5? ✓

Result: in-to-out path + square-to-target face = clockwise sidespin → beautiful draw. Too much twist = hook; dial back and mark your sweet spot.

Left-handed mirror note: Twist rotator right instead of left. Feet aim left of target.

Fade Shots – Controlled Left-to-Right Curve (Right-Handed)

Produce that reliable fade / gentle slice shape.

Start with your wedge (the easiest club to learn with).

  1. Set the pivot housing to the centreline mark on the main shaft, ensuring the rotator shaft and the target shaft are perpendicular to one another. At this position, lasers 1 and 2 will be parallel to the main shaft and perpendicular to the rotator shaft

  2. Place the device on the ground so the main shaft points directly at your target and is at least 200 mm from the ball.
  3. Slide the shaft forward or backward until laser 3 dots the left-right centre of your golf ball.
  4. Twist the rotator housing right (opens stance) 2–4 clicks to start (experiment!).
  5. Set up: laser 1 & 2 hit the same shoe spots but your feet line now aims left of target.
  6. Lasers 4 & 5 still even on toes (width unchanged).
  7. Square clubface to laser 3’s beam (aimed at target – not feet).
  8. Swing along feet line (out-to-in path relative to face).

Visual checklist • Laser 3 on ball centre? ✓ • Feet aimed left of target? ✓ • Clubface square to laser 3 (target)? ✓ • Even toe marks from lasers 4 & 5? ✓

Result: out-to-in path + square-to-target face = anti-clockwise sidespin → reliable fade. Too many clicks = slice; reduce and mark your ideal fade zone.

Left-handed mirror note: Twist rotator left instead of right. Feet aim right of target.
